Do you have books for children, teenagers or adults you would like to share with the Lakota (Sioux) people in South Dakota?
Do you have books for children, teenagers or adults you would like to share with the Lakota (Sioux) people of
South Dakota?

Reading is so important to a child's educational development!

Sadly, many homes on South Dakota’s reservations have few or no books for a child to read. Additionally, these communities are without public libraries.

As a result, St. Joseph’s provides books, each year, to these deserving children of the prairie.

With the help of generous friends like you, our Reach Out Bookmobile visits communities in the farthest corners of the reservations, sharing books and other reading material with children and adults.

The bookmobile travels in June and July, stopping at day care facilities, playgrounds, lunch programs and parks to distribute thousands of books and other reading materials.

Do you have books for children, teenagers or adults you would like to share with the Lakota (Sioux) people in South Dakota?

Send them to St. Joseph’s today so we can prepare our Reach Out Bookmobile for its summer travels!
